Abstract
Palaquium ravii Sasidh. & Vink is an endemic species of Kerala, hitherto not reported from Tamil Nadu. It is being reported here as an addition to the Sapotaceae of Tamil Nadu based on the collections from the wet evergreen forests of KMTR. Brief description of the species, relevant information and images are provided.
