Abstract
Researchers working in the small state in northeast India have found that marginalised groups are resorting to privately installing and maintaining water supply systems. Pipes shown crisscrossing Sumbuk’s undulating landscape in June 2022. Despite this appearance of connectivity, not everyone has access to freshwater. (Image: Abriti Moktan).
