Abstract

Across India’s coasts, from the languid channels of the Sundarbans delta to Mumbai’sstifled creeks, mangroves form a barrier between land and sea. These coastal forests arecritical in India’s pursuit of climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and theempowerment of coastal communities.
