Abstract
Impatiens prainii Hook.f. (Balsaminaceae) has been recollected from the Sikkim Himalaya after a lapse of 120 years. Detailed nomenclatural citation, description based on live specimens, distributional records, along with photo-plate are provided to facilitate easy identification.
